Re: Walking meat as a healer
What about making that like the grave digger?
The unit can "summon" a piece of meat every turn that cannot be reanimated but can be eaten by undeads with the "eat up a corpse" ability.

You mean that this fighter will scatter pieces of meat like corpses around him? The idea is good, such advantages as the fact that these corpses could serve as obstacles, and corpses would be eaten more often (I have never used them for healing for the whole game for the undead), but the problem is that spam of the undead takes a lot places (construction of graves, fountains of blood, gravediggers require free space) and the same gravedigger will be more profitable since his corpses are also edible and resurrect.
If you do this, then he needs a lot of lives so that he could accompany the troops in the attack, it seems to me.

That unit would be meant to follow the army, unlike the gravediggers that work better at the bases.
the unit itself might have like 30/40 hp and no attack at all. It might also heal itself by eating the rotten meat it spreads.

@Savra Can you make an image for that?
I ws thinking it might be like a cart with rotten meat inside, or maybe some kind of zombie butcher?

What about a zombie pulling a cart of it?

Could also be a zombie pulling a cart with a blood cauldron inside, that way we can just re-use the indicator of the blood fountain.

Re: Walking meat as a healer
These might be 2 different units I guess. That was meant to fuel eat up a corpse (which would be more effective).

Oh, I see what you guys want, alright.
So a zombie butcher pulling a corpse cart and has the ability to drop rotten meat for other undead.

Yes, unlike the grave digger would have no cooldown cause his "corpses" would be used only for healing.

Maybe we could make it so that normal zombies could turn into this if they have 3 corpses around them? With a tech of course.

Re: Walking meat as a healer
I was thinking more like making it buildable (that's why a cart). That can be an option as well.

The cart looks more like it is on the side of the zombie than behind.

Now to make the rotting meat.

Re: Walking meat as a healer
Say, maybe this should drop a zombie on death, basically when the cart gets destroyed the angry zombie butcher releases it's wrath on the nearest enemy.
I could even make a new image for it as a zombie butcher with cleaver in hand.

Re: Walking meat as a healer
I thought zombies have no intelligence?
Maybe with a 50/50 chance? There is a chance that the enemy will kill the butcher first rather than a non-living cart.

Re: Walking meat as a healer
A blob on a cart? I thought a corpse cart might seem better but if you wanted a type of flesh golem it should probably be a bit more clearer.
Re: Walking meat as a healer
Might try combining that with this.

Re: Walking meat as a healer
Maybe try putting that kind of stuff on the cart you have made @Savra. I think it looks cool to see the zombie that is pulling the cart.

This is not a blop, but his belly. As intended, this is mutated flesh that grows and tears off pieces of flesh from itself.
