So long as these designs aren't forgotten, it's fine with me. These techs have peeled my interest though but I won't ask what they are because then it wouldn't be much of a surprise when it gets in. (One of the reasons I'm not joining discord despite now being able too )

Hmm, you know what, we can just forget the overseer and the floating phantom and just stick with just the juggernaut instead, I'll just edit it so that it still has some form of weapon while it's sword is summoned.Alexander82 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2020 2:41 pm for now I wouldn't go for the executioner style
Anyway we had a different idea for crusher, for now I suggest you to stop working on phantoms as I am not really considering the overhaul of the sub before we add the resurrection feature.
That way I don't have to make any more fallen phantoms and it would make the fallen juggernauts corpse a little easier to make. Then we can add it after the reanimation trick.

Thx, btw I found something but first I want to make sure if it fits.
So, according to what we got for specifications here phantoms must be:
Decorative objects found near mansions
Must be a poltergeist
Must be focused on physical attributes over abilities
Correct?
Also, does it have to be living armour? Or are they allowed to possess statues as well?
If so, then I might have found their fast unit.

They should stick on the animated armor theme.

Well that could work, also I will change the phantom knight (only for map editor) mount to a animated Lion statue.
Being that these often are seen decorating mansions porches, or gardens.

So if we do the statue part as a unit should it be buildable with a special effect of should it just be trainable?

Aside from the phantom knight, the stone lion itself could be buildable by workers or a special worker, also it could be trainable at mansion (lion part, not the whole phantom knight.)

Discord would be the place to go I think, they seem to have the rest there.
I had some mage units planned as well as some new abilities but theirs an issue with coding. We don't have any effects that involve charges, were to use an ability you need a certain amount soul charges to use it as well as abilities that increases the soul charges for these units and maybe an ability were you can transfer one units soul charges to another, certain soul charged abilities would require something like 5 soul charges to use but would consume all units soul charges, increasing damage of ability by 2 for each soul charge.
It seems complicated but it would be a nice addition for undead. Soul charges could be acquired from corpses and from magic missile like attacks known as "soul snatch", which grants caster 1 soul charge of targeted unit is killed.
These are for these spell casters though and not the phantoms so I'll end this soul charge discussion here. We can continue it in one of those units topics.

necromancers or liches should have more summoning ability like a floating flaming skull that is mostly 1 hit and a very weak attack and should be summoned without any limited amount

@Alexander82 being that this is a sub race and demons are another, also due to them being summons of undead, should the sub race tech icons be forbidden summoning books rather then flags or shield icons?
