New ability for ghost like units -CLOSED:(

It's a passive ability(like troll regeneration) - mostly for undeads ghost - so the current banshee would get it too.

"Ghost body "-reduces incoming physical dmg by 50-70%
Not affects magic attacks (eg magic arrow, exorcism, holy light) and elemental dmgs (in future)
Better name suggestion?

This helps plan future ghost units. (eg wraith)
No research tech.
Useful for other non corporal units in other races.
They don't need to have high hp or irreal armor to withstand some blows (like a "real ghost")
Whatever strong is an ork he cant slice in two a ghost :lol:

If not approved we can still play with Hp, dodge and armor values.

I prefer that ghost-like units will use dodges if possible, also don't touch banshees.
As for this ability itself - i have in suggestion for Elven hunters similar ability.

Magic shield - reduces incoming piercing damage (up to 50%, researchable, 3 levels), effect applies after reducing damage from armor.


Also ghosts can have instead weak hp but 100% regeneration so they will heal to full hp at the beginning of their turn. Like Ghosts and Wraiths from Heroes of Minght and Magic 3.

no lifelink for ghosts - they are not vampires who drains life.
Better give some regeneration - they restore their body slowly.

for ghost dwarf i think 25% of max hp at the beginning of his turn is fine.

Well this halving physical dmg cud be used
at special units what have unstable corpses, elastic materials, and such

Eg. Ghost, slimes, water elementals,..

Stratego said no to any ways of additional % based damage reductions.
