Blood Hound - Zombie Dog - MERGED
Blood Hound - Zombie Dog - MERGED
A monstrous dog-like creatures that can see stealth units. It has a very fast speed and a very wide sight. It has a low attack and cheap. It's ideal to ambush weak units too when in numbers.

Re: Blood Hound
I think it is the best race for this unit since it also includes demonic/infernal subraces

Re: Blood Hound

It might fit orcs too but we might propose something different for them

Re: Blood Hound
Orcs and Elves don't have invisible units,I am saying it should be for elf race, because it is also like wolf, moreover,Undead race properties don't match this. For invisibility they already have something.I don't remember the name, but it is invisible.

Re: Blood Hound
But this unit isn't invisible,it only see invisible units.
It doesn't change fact that undead invisible unit, shade, can see stealth, and orcs have only troll shaman, with is too expensive to hold it near to great buildings.

Re: Blood Hound
That was my mistake. But in last post,I was talking what will it see, except assasins,we don't have invisible units for orcs and elves.
Anyways,I guess stats could be:
Cost:2
Attack:5
Speed:5
Action/Turn:1/1
Armour:2
P. Armour:2
Rang:1
Spell Resistance:50%

Re: Blood Hound
The Human should have a hunting dog too instead of a scout dog. It would be great in early games wherever one has weak units.

Re: Blood Hound
When I read this, it reminds me of the skinned hounds from elder scrolls: oblivion
Definitely undead. However, I feel like they would be better as a sort of summon, like the elf wolves.

Well sorry to say this, but the stats then must be enough to satisfy players, and not like the elf wolves

That is pretty good steel, maybe some hints of w=bone or rotting flesh? But otherwise it is pretty good

Re: Blood Hound
I think its suitable to have them for undeads or elf ,but as of dogs, they are a man's best friend XD,so they suit for human race
Also,I think this unit needs to have something different from elf wolves

Re: Blood Hound
if this is scout than it doesn't need any bonuses. can have instead cost 1 and sight 7.

Re: Blood Hound
Shouldn't it be a bone dog?
He also said it was suitable for for either one.
Maybe the undead should have something called Dread Hound.

Re: Blood Hound
I liked the idea, also it could be easily to make upgrades for it... Can start as - Undead Hound (or Just Hound)> Blood Hound> Hell Hound.

Re: Blood Hound
Would've like to save the hell hound name for demons that's still up for discussion.

Re: Blood Hound
Nah, would kill the whole evolution breed for these doggos, and for demons, they can have Coeurls instead. In any case, while that does not go foward, demons are still a subfaction of the undeads.
