Re: Enchanted Walking Armor
The description was good, but I don't anybody would attack this unit at close range if it doesn't deal any damage. It's ability should work when it attacks an foot unit to make it useful.

Re: Enchanted Walking Armor
For an assassin like ability, up the cost to 4 and have it inflict a "petrify" effect. I say petrify, since it could be reused for other units like a basilisk. Petrify would turn the unit into a neutral with +5/+5 armor, no moves, and no attack. This means it becomes more or less an irritating part of the terrain that blocks movement unless you destroy it.

Re: Enchanted Walking Armor
But ARMOR can attack others,so it would be better to waste weak troop or hitting it with unit with dmg 9 or more, before armor hits your strong units:lets say,Ettin(if this is what you were sayin)Puss_in_Boots wrote:The description was goid, but I don't anybody would attack this unit at close range if it doesn't deal any damage. Re: Enchanted Walking Armor
I think it would be better to try plate armor versions. Most enchanted walking armors are depicted as such, mostly because plate has more form than chain. Besides, if I look at these images the right way, they kinda make me think it's a guy in pajamas with a helmet. But that's probably because I've always thought chainmail looks like weird pajamas.

Re: Enchanted Walking Armor
Pretty good ability, but i think it should stay as it is(when attacks or counterattacks, freezes attacked unit(unit is always blacked out).Plus EFFECT CANT BE DISENCHANTEDSunrise Samurai wrote:For an assassin like ability, up the cost to 4 and have it inflict a "petrify" effect. Re: Enchanted Walking Armor
Why not? Maybe it should even be destroyed by the ability since the unit is nothing but an "enchanted" armor.

Re: Enchanted Walking Armor
Much better pics. And no disenchant is half the reason I said it the way I did, but I also was making it where a player can't just delete it to get it out of the way. Now puss has an interesting idea. Disenchant works as an instakill if applied before the armor attacks.

To prevent moving, neutral should be blacked out, and armor could be +5/+7.Like the idea!Sunrise Samurai wrote: Petrify would turn the unit into a neutral with +5/+5 armor, no moves, and no attack. But disenchant isnt a continous spell like tample, etc?Or you meant AFTER attack?Sunrise Samurai wrote:Much better pics. Re: Enchanted Walking Armor
I mean if disenchant is cast on the armor itself, the armor is destroyed

Re: Enchanted Walking Armor
I was actually picturing the wearer being already dead before anything can help them, and disenchant is useless because the power of the armor has already been used up. It can kill the armor beforehand, but afterwards you just have a lifeless statue in the way.

Re: Enchanted Walking Armor
Sorry i didnt get it like that
But i think disenchant should affect armor before and during the use.If disenchanted before use it will be killed. If disenchant is used while armor is binded it could result not in kill or "unpertryfiying",but armor drop -5/-6

Re: Enchanted Walking Armor ACCEPTED
Might be a little too dark. Darkening it was a good touch, but not quite so much.
