A glass.. vaporizing ray. I think it should require 23 hit points; 40 is still pretty hard to kill.

Agreed. I'd actually enjoy using this. Is it flying?

With many unitswe might implement I don't feel elves would need another dragon. Also that kind of destructive dragon't isn't much in line with the elves background

You might have a point. There's too much of our creativity going into elves lately, at the expense of the other races.

I thought it would he a good idea because when ever i play random games, every army i face as the elves always haves a high value target with large peirce armour , my ents are too slow to pass threw hordes, and sentinels and centaur to are too weak for those higher up units from other races so i end up using up all my arrows on these powerful targets, then getting over run by the horde that follows them. A glass, vaporizing dragon i thought would fit the genre of the elves and help balance out battles

Mabey making the cool down 8 turns, and the hp 30 would balance it, out. Also, it should be a ground unit, but able to fly over obstacles like the current elven dragon.

It is not a problem. Elven archers are cheap and can put down even highly armored units. Now elven melee units are a great dodging wall against strong units. Giving elves a cannon-like unit like that would definitely imbalance the game.

Btw have you checked the new elven fire archer animation?

Yeah, dodge just hit the game balance pretty hard. Let the dust settle before we try to give the elves anything else that would negate the advantages other races still have.
