Roman Scorpion

Roman Ballista, created in Siege Workshop and Roman Garrison
It costs 5 turn
Can affected by high morale effect of centurion
Have better mobility than regular ballista (speed 2)
For stats can be compared with ballista

We have heavy ballista (upgrade of normal one) with already better mobility.

and why does ballista must be affected by high morale?
it is just such stupid as if you can mend by workers elephants.

I think it'll be good if there is a roman siege weapon to make a roman units pack

then just build workshop.
there is no need in "special" roman ballistas and even more it will not be good to be buildable in roman garrison. this buidling must produce living units only.

Scorpion is a light ballista by the Romans I think?

I guess in the game is a early roman/greek ballista?

We have normal ballistas and they are somewhat like light ballistas.

+50% v foot meele and archers

Ability: burning ammo

Same bonus than ballista
Burns adjacent enemies(including not structure)

Scorpion cart

Same armor.

Worker
Auxiliary siege engineer (in project)
Extra ecclesiam nulla salus...

I don't like to theme anything roman as fire-spewing.
Romans were not known from destroying buildngs, quite the contrary. It's more the specialisation of steppe cultures, like mongols.

I think roman scorpion could be something else - maybe single no-area attack unit destroyer (16-20 damage)?
Or just smaller version of ballista.

They were made to break the wooden gates of fortres and palisades wall. They were able to shoot big arrows in flames. Maybe give him some bonus only v those buildings. They were known by their long range, longer than ballistas.

For stone walls, roman armys had onagers, another siege machine we could add.
