i mean 2x2 the building base, and the upper 2 tiles is the overlapping ones (that are steppable by other units)

Sorry, @patroid , but I think they want a mega or mini mega.
If possible...
Maybe you can do something with this... Made by @Savra .
I like how the towers were done.

That was a shrunken version of this that I found actually so I can't take all the credit.
I found it while just looking around at images for new ideas and such and looked at it and thought that it was worth checking out. Turned out that the game it was from, the creators were redesigning everything and were leaving their old images out for public use, for free. So I thought that it might be handy for something when the moment arived and just so happens it was more handy then I anticipated. I used part of it to help in the development of the Necropolis.

Great image.
I think I could start implementing both monasteries now.
I added it to todo list.
Smaller version will only train monks and random crusaders (archers, swordsmen, cavalry) without seargant, and lord.
I think it could be named priory.
Bigger castle-like could be named just monastery.

I really wanted to add it, but posted image is after all too castle-looking.
I started to create something more monastery-like, based on StormSaint373 image.
I anyone has idea what to add inside the walls to look like proper monastery - feel free to edit this, because right now - it looks like a prison.

Not monastery looking yet, but i made some changes. Don't know what to fill the courtyard with, maybe a mini stable or barrack, since crusaders will also be trained here? Or a mini garden perhaps. Maybe someone could change the main buildings top to look more like a dome, i dont know.

Not as empty anymore but at first glance I wouldn't guess it was a monastery
Houses look too big to me, maybe someone else can have a go.
Also i cant draw a stable so...

Monasteries change based on time, space, geographical condition and religous order.

Many in Spain look like this. Monasteries like this one, are often in cities.

Should I try make a version where the houses are part of the wall, and with tiles on their roof?

Maybe make the stone fort inside look more like a church-ish fort

Well i've got quite far making a different version which is less village-like and more like the example Gral.Sturnn gave, ill probably finish a not shaded version of it by today and i'll try make the fort more like a church.

I was thinking something along the lines of this, still need to add shading to walls, make fort more like a church and fill the empty courtyard, but it feels like a step in the right direction.
Thoughts?

Well, this is what i came up with, some barracks to house the crusaders, a garden for the monks, an extended part of the building, some empty courtyard, maybe for training, and the fort is more like a church now with some stained glass and golden cross
Still don't know if thats enough so edit it all you want
Atleast it doesnt look like a village now

I thought, this would be put in the mountain area. Maybe add some stairs at the side or the gates?

So priory will be the small version of this and only train basic units, while the monastery trains all crusaders/monks? And there will be a random training feature like the romans have?

OK. Implemented.
Possibility to build on hills (mountains) will be added once other things capable of connection through such tiles are added.
To make things nice it would be good to also make build progress images for both monastery and priory.
Build progress images are mostly made of as many frames as it takes turns for best builder to construct. In case of monastery it would be like castle - 16 images (+1 finished), and priory - 3.

Would you like all 16 uploaded at the same time, once they are done? BTW im just doing the monastery, not the priory.

It doesn't really matter much - do what You think is better.
The images will need to be put in one .png, but I can merge them.

Since i already started making them separately ill continue. Dont know if it will end up looking good, it is so annoying to have to back track from the finished version to less built versions - very time consuming.
I hope you will be able to modify it up to standard once i upload it

OK, i've finished the images, though there are a few inconsistencies between the first few images i think. If its anything large enough to be noticeable, can you please edit it slightly, or ask me too, as today i dont have more time to work on it. It is 16 images and 1 more which is the complete one, and another with the windows lit up which will be shown if someone is present inside the building.
Sorry for the mass upload lol
