Mameluks? IMPLEMENTED

Post by LordOfAles »

I dont know if i need to put this here or in issue forum, but here is the point

Mameluks were special saracen units wielding a non-straight sword, but were not melee units! They threw swords instead
(In this game range should be 3 squares) Thats all i wanted to say, thank you for your time! :D

Well, some swords have an aerodynamic shape, I believe there were African swords built with an entirely akward shape that makes them travel further with more velocity as opposed to regular swords used by Europeans when thrown. :)

Mamelukes in Age of Empires 2 throw their swords. Just make the range 2 and deal on normal armor I think. Maybe we also need a new melee camel unit (I got a name for it Dromedarii=Roman Empire camel cavalry).
