Very cool, but a couple of points...

Speed 4...this is equal to a chariot or a mounted missionary...(?)
Attack 8...a bit high...maybe 6?
Sight 4...nearsighted infantry? How about 5? (Just a thought)

Other than that it's very cool!! :-)

No, I think it's balanced - its cost is 5. It's attack is equal to swordsman.

But maybe its sight could be increased to 5.

I think the speed should defiantly be reduced, but apart from that, it sound great :)

here you can also exceed the 32px, so the hat can be longer if you desire.

enlength = make him taller, i thought the "hat" or "helmet" could be 1 px taller maybe.

yes. 'enlength'='lengthen' make longer or increase in length.

For one - the name druzhina describes an entire army under direct command of slavic prince. Not only in Russes. West and south slavic people used them too, just shorter (up to XII - XIII century). Druhzina was made of more common foot units (in Poland that soldier was known as tarchovneek) - really just slavic early infantry equipped with spear+shield, some archer/lighter units (axe or sword, and bow) and probably mainly known as druhzin-neek (a member of druhzina) medium-heavy cavalry equipped guy. Typical army composition was 1 to 3 or 1 to 4, cavalry to infantry. Pretty high on non-steppe culture.

That one should probably be assigned to the name.
If we assume he's just dismounted for battle it would still be a national version of dismounted knight.

I'd say to boost his stats to:

35 hp, 5/4 armor, 12 power, speed lowered to 3 (there is no reason for 4), 100% conversion resistance

Bonuses as other heavy infantry (for now):
+50% on cheap melee, cheap archers
+100% on buildings, siege machines
