lately there have been a lot of melee units and compared to the amount of ranged troops, naval etc are the ones that have a lot, it would be nice to have a look at ideas about ranged troops.
I swore to protect and lead a great order that seeks enlightenment, I was chosen by the great star and I will pour out his fury against anyone who declares himself an enemy!

That is not true - since I am helping with AoS updates it's been:
5 melee foot
3 ranged (+1 tech)
2 mounted
2 siege
4 ships
3 supportive
13 buildings + 3 traps

Anyway aside from skirmisher balance changes I don't even plan much for ranged units.
Maybe mongolian horse archer upgrade, another more costly axe thrower, cho-ko-nu.
But current focus is still on buildings and tech.
Some cavalry, along with anti-cavalry are planned before ranged too.
