Bridges going down - IMPLEMENTED

Post by ollie444 »

Currently a vertical bridge looks bad, as the bottom doesn't connect with the land. Any solutions?

You might require to build on land too to continue cuilding a bridge (e.g. a real bridge usually require some of its structure to actually be built on land, that's the idea

Only thing I can think of is to change our tileset (use shoreline that all acts as water). :( That's a lot of work.
Thanks!

Yes, that's a good idea also, but we have to remember that bridges can have any form, so they would look bad anyway

He means the south side of where the bridges touch the land: the half water half land tile counts as land, so there appears to be a gap between the land and the bridge.
Thanks!

I know, but when you make an irregular bridge it always looks unnatural, unless we decide to allow straight bridges only
