Yeah, I would call them powerful, but not OP.

Lol, we agreed long ago they were fine.
I just brought back this topic to say that cavalry have no bonuses against them, which makes no sense. Especially Hussars.

I revived the topic only to bring attention to the overlooked lack of bonuses from cavalry > macemen, and I didn't want to litter the forum with another maceman topic.
The day is coming when a single carrot, freshly observed, will set off a revolution.

Honestly, I don't think them OP
They are good, but very easy to counter with cavalries.
2 heavy knights kill a maceman in one turn while macemen can't attack cavalries because of their low speed.
They are also weak against long range units.
I think the unit is balanced.
