Does the download require a laptop/desktop, or can you get on samsung devices? If you can get it which one? I tried (because android software is based on linux) but it didn't work.

Tiled only works on PC. that is why I can't use it. :'(
I tried to find a way to convert it somehow but I didn't have such luck

hmmm, I have sent a map a few days ago.
Will the be a reaction telling me if it is OK or if I should improve something?
If so, what is the mean reaction time?

The reaction time is very very long. Sorry.

Please tell us which maps to check. Not only will we get around to checking it, but we will be much nicer in telling you if there are things to improve. (Sometimes forumers get tired of all the bad and buggy maps that get sent in that they can be "grumpy" or "ruthless" when reviewing maps )

I guess most creater haven't watched the instructions about fan map in the forum so they makes too many not nice(even unrealistic ) maps spawn.

When Daniel lets you know that it is in the game, just post on the forum or message me the name of your map and we will send you feedback.

How to save my drafts when I want to change version?
First you need to activate your maps as own map.
Then save your account in Multip. account to avoid any loss.Then you can upgrade it now.

After upgrade,you need to login your multip. account first,then load your account.You click "own maps" and you can see your maps now.
But normally,your will see this picture when you longclick your map.

If you want to get back your draft,open the map first,then close it after loading.You can see this picture when you longclick it.
Choose circle one in the picture so you can see your drafts and continue create your map now.

Q2:
I make a map.I want other players in AOS can play my map.How to send it to Daniel(Dev) to check my map can be publish or not?

First,click your map DRAFT and go into that map.


Then,take a screen shot .Example:


Next,click "Send to DEV"

I use gmail as example.
Then,click the paper clip to add screenshot of the map.


You can see screenshot is added.Finally,send it.

on an update you will not lose anything.

Activate it as Own map and try to play it at least once to check all is working first, I guess.
But sure, you can. As stated both here and in the Map Editor Help file, just remember to add a screenshot of the whole map when sending it to dev.

I believe what was meant by that is when you switch devices you have to do that.

There should be a trigger tutorial at Youtube.
About triggers, a trigger should have a condition and an effect.

For example: Cond: Object Destroyed: Unit or Bld, or smth - Eff: Declare Winner: Player 2.
This example is when an Object gets destroyed (like a Protagonist/Antagonist) it'll Declare a player winner (You or enemy, based on what player you pick).
Another example: Cond: Player turn has start: Turn 1 - Eff: Message Dialogue.
For this one, once turn 1 has started for the player you set, it will trigger the effect Message Dialogue (a message will appear). This is used when u want to say something at the beginning of the turn. Like an introduction or something.

Multiple Effects can be set on a trigger with a condition.
