I already need either neutral hostile ai or 8 player slots for some of my maps because for example on map №9 there must be 4 teams: player as dwarf, your elven ally, rebel humans (neutral), rebel humans (allied to player), neutral hostile and i need 2 for main enemy teams.

Also question: can we just add 3-4 ai only slots in the game? Like current john or future neutral hostile?
Prefered AoS games: AoS, AoF (humans, elves, orcs, dwarves)

6 human/ai players and 4 ai only – that is how i see this.

That's a good idea, watching 10 AI going against each other would be very interesting to watch.
But we do need more colors

I think this is the best way to do it. One neutral ai that serves for wildlife, decorations, and capturable stuff, one hostile that will attack anything and anyone to serve as bandits, hostile wildlife, or a mutual antagonist, and one friendly ai that shares beneficial auras and spells with anyone nearby, like a camp full of healers to drag wounded units to for all sides.

Friendly one might help against hostile neutral. But will be friendly to all players.

No way. I haven't seen even a 4 player match finish without someone having to hold it up, and that's among forum members. Random play somebody is getting skipped/kicked in a 4 player match. 6 players I expect 2-3 will be inactive. With 8 players I'd imagine you will end up with 3-4 inactive, and the game could go for a month before getting past turn 4. It would be around 7 days per turn I'd estimate, and thats if nobody missed a day. 3 rounds likely before someone was kicked, you're actually looking at 30 days to even finish that undead knight you need to go capture another tc when you started it turn 1.

Did you read any of the discussion at all? Its not gonna be available to multiplayer

No one is retarded enough to put 8 players. We all know what it will result in and this will surely be useful for large scale campaigns like on makazuwe32 is making.

They want to add 2 more neutral ai's, one that's hostile (probably brown or black team) one that is helpful (my suggestion for colors would be probably dark green or pink). Tankhead wants 8 players though that can only be used offline due to lack of activity online. I kinda want both. Reason being is 8 player you can make more factions in campaigns and you might be getting two more armies eventually, and the hostile ai would make maps a whole lot more interesting and add a little extra to the map editor options. I do about helpful one though because everyone already has decent support units especially orcs.

friendly ai: it exists: set type to AI hard, and set it to be in your team.
hostile ai: it exists: set type to AI hard, and set it to be NOT in your team.

so the only new thing i see is the new player slots, that you can put into the "needs" section and if gets popular i can put in (only out of multiplayer)

But they want neutral hostile AI that doesn't take up space. About the friendly one, they wanted to be friendly to all. Meaning no one can attack them.

No. We need these that will NOT take extra slots.
Like current "john" but neutral friendly (they can't be attacked but you can move through, they can buff or heal your units, maybe pure white color for them) and neutral hostile (that will act as current john but more agressive, defending its territory, pure black color or brown).
Both these otherwise act as john: can't train units, walking around mindlessly.

And personally i want more ai-only slots. Maybe as additional option for single player.
