Question about the unfinished multipplayer game

Some (I think is new) players opened a map but didn't response long long time after I finished my first turn. I decided to skip it's turn and then Resign. I am curious that will that map be automatically deleted after several months? Will that kind of map increase the burden of storage in server? :?:

Good question.
I have quite a lot of games where i have been resigned but they still keep reappearing in "games you can join".
