Water town centers
I've gone through the star wars strategy pilot, and noticed the game is capable of producing town centers on other terrain types. In SwS it is space, which flows rather well in the few maps that combine land and space. Is there any way tc generation can include water based tcs? For production purposes, they can make land and sea units, though land units would need something like a bridge or transport adjacent to move anywhere. This would be for AoF as well as AoS, and possibly for our other versions as well if applicable. Obviously, we might want to give new pics for water tcs too.

Well that sounds like "only for fantasy" content, not sure about other games

actually those are planets that a little ground spots on the sky
so if u make a few island on water it will be the same.
but yes with some coding we can have auto-generated water tc-s sometime, however in mapeditor we can have them immediately with no coding, just a unit image and json is needed.

....I didn't catch that part that they are planets.
I was thinking it would also solve some map design problems, like the "no space for tcs" message on water based maps anyone designs.

actually yes, but would you be happy having all surrounding water TC nearby (4-5 tiles) and you must build bridges to them?

Re: Water town centers
I guess we would need to add work boats, then have the game see where the initial tc was to determine whether to give a worker or work boat, which would be mostly the same thing, just sea based. I know SwS had separate worker types based on where the tc was located, so it's not too much of a stretch.
