Yeah we only need lawyers, a mega corporation, and indie developers. It's the easiest game to make and it is so much fun!

But the problem is how to induplicate the units on the game?
I have some Idea of this let's deploying the superheroes with no town. Just select your units to deploy. Is that okay Mr. Developer?

From both respective comics and animes owners... Instead of one, you will have to worry with many... So it is not wortly to risk imo.

Or let's change the name of " Age of SuperHeroes" or AOSH. The units of the game are including mortal combat, DC, marvel, final fantasy, tekken, and etc. In game, it is the same way to updrage units and spell but no tech. If the game will launch, first you want to pick up your units who are you want to battle so no multi units will join ( it is limited to pick up, 8/10 units maybe). The mechanics of the game is easy you want to kill all units of your enemy. And about the campaign you want to survive and solve the quest. The units should be have a skill and ability. That's all today to my suggestion for you dev. I know it is copyrights law, I'm just to share to you what is in my mind.

bruh u probably never saw gintama, but that anime literally turned copy right laws upside down ( even comparing Will Smith with virus in one of the episodes cuz japanese of fever is wiru and they pronounce will as wiru so who ever catches cold turns into Will Smith literally the original Will Smith's anime face) if japanese anime dont care about japanese and western copyright y should we?
