Age of History

Post by Lawrence »

I mentioned this one before, but I will keep saying it. :D

Fight as Romans against Vikings and the mayans, as the Greek people against ancient Chinese and stuff.

It ias a bit in AoS, but this is better for replaying historical battles
Random guy: "Lets use goblins."
Me: "GOBLINS? THIS IS LAWRENCIAAAAA!"

No. There is no sense becouse we have AoS. Making a new game is too time consuming to waste on a duble. Yeah, historical races version might be cool ,but,as I said,it's too much time for only that.
Just add more historical units into AoS.
Support new AoS variant, Age of Galaxy: http://ageofstrategy.net/viewforum.php? ... 608408ebc8
All help will be welcome.

we simply need such masps in historical section in AOS.
btw: why no one is on making real historical maps? i think they are fun to make, at least i loved making the current ones when i had time 4 it :)

Because there's much less creative license in true history. I'd rather make a campaign about Atlantis conquering the Mayans than actually come up with approximate numbers and geography for the hundred years war. The fictional campaign doesn't require research, and can be balanced as I please. The real history has troop ratios, general strategies, and perhaps even real names to be maintained. It's actually more work to recreate history than to make your own.
