Clash of the ageofs

It might almost be fun to play a game with AoS, AoF, and AoWW combined. Give AoWW longer ranged units ranges comparable to the other two, and let everyone brawl. The bomber took out a ballista, just to be blown out of the sky by a mage's fireball. Tie fighter takes him down, but falls to AA fire, which a plant vs zombies pea shooter finishes off.

Who would win that battle?

Oh, i never knew that easter egg existed in the first place. Well i never play AoF anyways, it doesn't feels right for me (just my opinion, don't be mad). :lol:

I don't think I caught​ that your son designed it. It's pretty cool, if underwhelming in normal gameplay. Good for elves or undead to use, since they don't have shooting towers, but orcs are better off building​ towers, and humans could go with fortresses or catapults.

Tell your son we like it and to let us know if he has any more ideas like it :D

Hey Daniel. Think you could take the current units from everything and put them​ in a combined​ game, as a forum joke? Just post a link on here or require us to email you for it.

Everything uses the same engine, so it should mesh seamlessly....ish. (maybe not the lack of range in AoWW, as the only real problem.) Races/nations stay the same, with AoS as one big race since it wasn't ever divided into factions. Since this will never see the light of official publishing, I think it would be safe to include SwS in it as well.

I think existing race divisions are best. AoS stays as it's own race, using the AoS logo for the emblem. Include one race option for everything lumped together, like the AoWW option to use anything.

Everyone must understand that balancing this is impossible from the start. Don't expect tanks to be op against cavalry, for example, since their stats aren't that different. Instead, be prepared for archers to destroy modern aircraft. Bonus systems won't work between games, due to different unit classifications. AoS vs AoF should be more balanced​, but we will be making house rules for most games.

I think overall, this is 1-2 weeks well spent. I expect us to get a lot of fun gameplay out of it. I can tell you the first game I'd like to try is AoS humans vs AoF humans :D

Since AoWW units have wonky ranges and image sizes compared to the other games, what would it take for a combined AoS/AoF/SwS game to be compiled from the current state of each game? I'm thinking just dump everything in and blend.

sorry i would suggest to focus on aow, or even to aog than this idea.

also it would be more than 1or 2 week to de-syncronize overlapping id-s - this is a mighty work.
