Swordmen who use two short swords instead of a sword and sheild. The short sword have less attack power but give two attack.

Elite soldiers, master knife marksmen who use light sword and light sheild, renown for their agility.

Men who use war hammers. I'm not sure what they should be called but they would have good strength of attack but lightly armored since war hammers are designed to crush heavily armored soldiers.

And how about a gas effect? Kind of like poison bit with a small area effect.

I think all these ideas (or similar ones) are already posted or discussed.
I have already suggested that spartans should have 2 swords to be historically correct

No, the war hammer, knife thrower, and poison gas are all new . And I don't think that we will change the Spartans.

But @FiredClay, could you please post each of these in a separate topic? So i.e. the War hammer man suggestion should get its own topic in the "infantry" section of the suggestions forum.

The only one Spartan warrior with two blades I know is Kratos from God of War. But this weapon wasn't... popular XD
