Would you like the infantry names based from:
1.Real life regiment or squad (Opolchenye, Schutze, Ranger)
2.Real life military ranks (Unteroffizier, Private, Poruchik)
3.Real life weapons (Machinegewehr 42, M1 garrand, PPSH 41)

It will also be easier to differentiate future infantry units (MGs for example)

I think that 1 will be cooller and more climatic,but 3 is good too.

i am not sure i understand, but currently i names themm by their weapon or role.

He says how about we name units by their real names, for example instead of naming a unit "russian infantry" we would name it "russian marines". I just hope that makes sense xd...

Yeah or panzergranadiers, brandenburger, rangers etc...

sure, infantry is a bad name.
but i made other like "machinegunner" or we can be more exact an exact machinegun type as a name.

so yes, all infantry can be like they were called simply suggest me the exact names and i will modify them.

Russian Infantry --> Russian riflemen
Russian machine gun --> Maxim stationary MG
Russian anti tank gun --> Russian AT rifle squad

German Infantry --> German riflemen
German machine gun --> MG-42 stationary machine gun
German anti tank gun --> German AT rifle squad

US infantry --> American riflemen
US machine gun --> Browning M2 stationary machine gun
US anti tank gun --> American AT rifle squad

Japanese infantry --> Japanese riflemen
Japanese machine gun --> Type 92 stationary machine gun
Japanese anti tank gun --> Japanese AT rifle squad

If we name the basic infantry units as i told you we can add some upgrades into the game. So, what do you say?
