Big crocks IMPLENTED

Post by Midonik »

Idea by @samuelch
Big crockodiles, mutated by greys. They are good swimmers (4 speed), have a nice hp and some decent physical armor because of strong scales, they can move on land too (2 speed) so they can just hit and run ground units. Maybe bonus to infantry. They counts as big units, not as ships (submarines doesn't have any bonus to them). Can't capture tcs. Cost... 3?
Samuelch said he wanted them about two peoples long. I think we can fit two such in an image, but I would need to see that.
Also, what do you think about bonus to ships? They could board them... Wait, we are going for mostly subs eh? But they still could have bonus to transport and small on water ships (corrvet). Maybe converting similar to Viking ship in AoS (how that acctualy works?)?
Thoughts?

It can't capture tcs and they cost more than 2, and that's the main strengths of the merlocks. They also aren't humanoids, and are truly effective only against land units. But if you mean if they are amphibian, yes they are. For a true merlock line unit see the web in techs - they will require the tech and probably cost 3 tho.
