I think i found a bug in the dev version: the Imperial Shielder has a range of 3 after upgrades, so he can attack 3 tiles away.... As a melee unit.

Lol this is not a mistake but a balancing. Those characteristics can be improved by means of shooting skill. It balances them in comparison with unity orcs. Imperial Knights also can be improved

templars shoud be ok but we might power up their magic and we might want to change their look and/or call them paladins

I wasn't much inspired to draw one. Do you think i should basse it on swordman and plan som upgrades too?

You mean we can make upagredes for dual swordman? Sounds good. About editing swordman... You can edit celtic warrior to look more "fantasy", or edit swordman,how do you want.

I think Celtic Warrior might need too much editing to make it look like a fantasy unit, but I could be wrong :)

I mean to make it looks like the swordman and it upgrades but without shield and with 2 swords
