Lately there's been 3 different spam in the off topics section. I call them spam despite the title of the subforum because they usually bait people into clicking links, and have nothing to do with us at all.

can you make new questions and answers so maybe those will work better? (these were good for 1-2 years but now they are outdated)

no, these are all registered before we changed question (now we only have one new question)

so if u see the user is joined before 07.26 than it is an already registered one, takes time to hunt all down after spamming

Also i think that forum needs another moderator due to the fact that @COOLguy is not so active recently.

By the way can we use aof related questions?
Like:

Race with best range? Elves
Which race has best summoning possibilities? Undeads
What name of great wizard in Lotr based campains? Gandalf
How many races in total are there in aof? 6
Worst enemy spell for undeads? Exorcism
What are orcs using for their Mega building? Volcano (and same for elves - Great Tree - and undeads - Mansion).

actually not so good because a AOS only player may want to join and will not know the answers - so best if only "engine" based the questions are (where answer is same for all alternatives)

I think it's common sense that you need gunpowder to operate cannons, archers shoot arrows, knights are mounted, but I think one of them would require putting a good amount of time into buying upgrades, and the other requires that you play the original AoS variant to discover that healers can convert.

Although I doubt anyone would know about the other games before playing AoS, I think these questions are more variant friendly:

Which type of buildings can flying effect allow units to pass over?
Walls.
With the other choices: factory, mega, defensive.

In mapeditor, what are the two default player colors?
Blue, green.

What is the primary producer of builder units?
TC.

What are buildings that take up more than one tile of space?
Megabuildings.

Maps that provide gem awards on completion are called?
Campaign maps.

To play a multiplayer game, which of the following do you need?
Latest version and account.

Please do not post on spam topics, because I have removed the spammer an all of its posts in one step and since then i need to individually delete your posts on these deleleted posts.

so i thought what to do and figured this out:
- please only post here me the username to delete as he is a spammer and post nowhere else about spams - thanks!
- please dont "mention" with @ the spammer - idk what messages he got about it that makes the bot to do anything else.
- calliewt60 was joined on 07.10 so our DEFENSE is STANDING STILL that we made on about 07.26 (it was an earlier joined "hiding" user

Just an idea, why not setup an auto account deleter that gets rid of accounts that aren't and never will be used again? But only the ones with 0 posts, and a year of age. If such thing is possible, we could be extra safe, and not have to scroll through thousands of ghosts just to find eachothers' forum tags.

Well, I see even with the gun powder answer there are problems. I wanted to join the forum maybe about 1 week earlier than when I joined. I filled everything on the register thing.
But,
I couldn't fill even the gun powder thing.
Note: the first game I played was Aoww. And hence at that time I had to play Aos, but even after I played, I had problems. I.e. even when I typed "gunpowder" it did not accept (and in game it is written "gunpowder") it took me the next day to join, cause the answer it expected was "gun powder" and I guess it was case sensitive too. Can't we get the google q&a or create some new ones. Maybe we can even use the windows paint for that, all we need to do is it make it hard for any bot to read that.
And can you appoint some moderators, who moderate other people (few real people too spam or post unnecessary things) and remove bot accounts if they cross the q&a. And also properly manage topics. Eg: people put some wrong thing under wrong topic. The moderator will arrange that.
Add around 2-3 moderators, who are active or who have at least daily post rate of 2.5/3 and above.

because of cannon placement in the upgrade section, it is very difficult to find cannon before one finds cannon tower, even i faced this problem, playing for months with a redundant cannon tower cuz i couldnt figure out how to get gun powder tech, so i expect new players may actually find problem to answer this question, how about these questions?

which unit builds something in aos?
ans: worker

which ground unit is used to transport other units in aos?
ans: wagon

these questions can b answered by any player after playing a few matches and so easier
