Alien with a very sharp blade that can cut through any material with ease.

I think we cloud make then unit dealing smaller than standard infantry physical damage,but with bonus against flesh and blood units that make them deal more damage for such units than alphas,but having less hp,or give them albitly similar to banzai charge.

I've been thinking about this, how about a 3 cost, 3 speed avarage hp, perharps some armor (maybe even support exo suit, maybe cost 4 then...), 2 actions, low damage, bonus vs infantry and ignore armor? Should it be a super sharp balde, or maybe some sort of photon sword or whatever? Generaly, it will be perfect unit vs heavy armored infantry thanks to bonus and armor ignore, but it's damage damage will be low enough to not be a high treat to anything else anyway.

Super metal (physical) or photon sword (energy)? We need a decision here. Acctualy if noone will have any objections, I would prefer the super metal (remember I will give it armor ignore).
Also an some sort of spear armed variant with bonus to big units and a bit for vehicles (cause they can reach the driver with them) would be great too.

how about on one hand, they are also holding a light shield? unarmored beasts charging against tanks with guns is WAY TOO MUCH primitive for a space strategy

on the side note, midonik can watch marvel's black panther to see the type of futuristic technology that goes with primitive style weapons

there were cool gadgets like cloak that creates magnetic shield against explosives weapons, and throwing spears that could move like bazooka and destroy planes, as well as ur super metal blade technology

real or not, they still serve as good inspiration

They can try ambushes or something. If you are not ok with that then you can add them those shields yourself or find someone willing to do it.

Energy swords are much more convincing of a futuristic setting. I agree they will need something to protect them from bullets.

good i will try my hands on futuristic shields, and ambushes only work on forests and urban areas, wat if they r exposed to tanks in the plains, they will need shield against conventional weapons

Really interesting, they look like a reptilian-cyborg like units made by greys with those knifes on one of their arms... The idea of half reptilian-cyborg is a great one.

You say soooo... I would prefer to see it as just support armor. Reptilians are more towards genetical engineering, maybe not as much as myconids or insectoids, but if they mess with their bodies then rather to make a more useful spiecies out if themselves (see: their techs). I would rather see cyborgs for humans tbh. For variety.

Well, in matter of result, implementing mechanical parts is much faster than messing with nature of things, so i can't see why not.

Eg: The little reptilian got his arm bombed and lived to tell the story, but he still wanted to fight, would him wait his new friendly greys to find a way to regrow his arm or put a big knife (or other stuff) there?
