After researching this tech all spearman and upgrades gain an aura.

Every other spearman in range gains +10% bonus against cavalry and 0,1 chance of dealing a first strike on counter (dealing damage to enemies before receiving the hit).

As for that how about adding some extra defense too? Irl a spearman with others near him would be more protected than when single

I was also thinking about that but I tought that forst attack might be more effective

I don't know. Since it is a formation bonus I think it should be the same.

I have proposed a simular idea in aos called group formations
(i'd link it but i dont know how)
Basicly you merge 2 units into 1 ad this 1 has stats from first unit + 50% stats from second
