Human tech: Dragonlance
Your units are equipped with lances that are realized to deal a big amount of damage when used against dragons:
Your units gain an increased bonus damage against dragons (we might make it like 300% or something like that)

I think that this is not a good idea already dragons riders can be killed by 2 units with spears (adding) a versatile unit that can easily kill them will make dragons ineffective...
Also a unit with a lance that kills only dragons just reduce the ways that it can be used (what if none of the players produce dragons)
A good idea for mounted units that are anti cavarly though

Maybe a technology that let you build a unit with no high speed that perfoms decent against a lot of enemy units (perfect against dragons) . It will be nice if it have resistance to fire.
Roleplay: Dragons roam the earth long before humans . To defend themselves they trained powerful warriors that can easily slay those beasts.
Well yes i will like see a tech under those circumstances

Maybe instead of giving halberdiers a bonus vs dragons, you make a "Dragonslayer" unit. High cost, elite unit with heavy bonuses against dragons, plus giants and the like, and stats comparable to the imperial units.

Okay, I see that topic was already proposed. Not much meat in the discussion as far as stats though.

Re: Human tech: Dragonlance
I was thinking to archive this one but on second tought bonus wouldn't stack so the bonus against dragons would probably only affects damage to normal dragons

Re: Human tech: Dragonlance
If you plan just to make a tech that can be researched in game by humans and gives them a 200 % bonus against dragons (maybe) it can be implemented in the game.
(300% is to much for all human units to have. Of course it might effect only some units)
Explanation : Humans by birth are trained to kill dragons. coutless of generations have fought against those beasts and failed this lead to a mass training of the human population so even a single individual may stand a change against those monsters .

Re: Human tech: Dragonlance
The dragonlance is an artifact given by the god of good dragons (in dragonlance setting) so it is basically the new weapon taken.
reach should become a requirement.

Re: Human tech: Dragonlance
It seems like it applies to halberdiers and imperial guards, specifically. Should we ever get lancers imported from AoS, it would be for them too. Basically, anti cavalry doubles as anti dragon once this is researched.
I think requirements should be reach and halberdiers, and this actually upgrades them, fulfilling the level 3 upgrade, plus being an upgrade for an imperial unit. Similarly, a level 3 upgrade to swordsman should also upgrade imperial swordsman.

I agree with 250% against dragons only (dragon riders are an exception to this )

Well some topics simply get forgotten, which is kind of funny tbh
Someone can, of course, always revive them, like you posting this message
