Lizardmen Brutes
elite and strong fighters.


The Lizard brutes are the strongest and most bloodthirsty from the Blue scaled lizardmen. .
They wear no armor and fear noting.
Its said they are the Chosen of WarGods - who protect them in battle and give them incredible strength and resistence.


Inspired from warhammer and the STG guardians.

Attack 16 - mellee (Tample) (5%applies stun - disable attack and move for 1turn)

Perhaps change to the common race name of blue lizards/saurids, - just need to invent it. :) On task list.

May get armored upgrade in future...!!!

Right now not needed - armor leather, bone and brass. Red scaled Shields

At least until we balance current scaledfolks.

Some of the effects for the units look a bit confusing, please clarify them.

Also maybe Scaledfolk don't need more big tanky high-cost units, they have enough already (and quite unbalenced at that, but it's being worked on).

I say to put this idea on hold until they are properly balanced, and then fix some things like the effects and the stats before considering an implementation. Idea is cool tho. And I love Warhammer. :)

Well, I was planning on making it a Gnolls but the test looked too lizard like so I made this. What you think?

It certainly looks like a different breed of lizard man, perhaps lower it shield so we can see it face more.

Well, the scaledfolk originally were based somewhat off that before we modernized them. Should I attempt to make him smaller?

They r inspiring, but I won't make any new unit with stats until scalefolk gets rebalanced, and mostly kobold elites.cos have no solid reference.
But yes, a rider and a chief unit can be added later.


This 3 are for different role and use.
Btw if have a "name" for group than share it.

Yours could use some colour change everywhere except the chest, btw his picture you have had a spear in one hand and a knife in the other. I think that's ok, as for mine I might make a new unit. For those two new ones we could call them:
Lizardmen bruiser
Lizardmen Feral claw (the cav, also we could change the steed to a t-rex if you want.)

Maybe you could give the clawblade brute a ranged attack with knives or something. He can keep the melee and make the other an ability if you want.

Hmm, tri horns their looks like he could be the size of an olog hai considering how big tricerotops heads are and seeing that as his helmet. What others think?

@Lynx Shafir maybe just make the clawblade brute a spear unit with throwing knives. Or the exact opposite. Knife unit with javelins.

Me's think that we should make the lizardmen brute pack look like they originated from the same clan so make them all variant versions of lynxs, to avoid any problems.

Shouldn't the armor cover the most important vulnerable part of the body which is the stomach.
