The Lore of blackwater golems ( to avoid confusion )
Golems come in many sizes and shapes, The one I happened to use are human modified armor golems. The reason for using human armor was to make up for the height difference vs other races ( cause why would they make dwarf size golems? )
The Core for these golems on how they operate are taboo runes.
Taboo runes are powerful runes with great power but comes with great cost. in most clans it's banned to use due to Drawbacks which in most cases takes away life but for non living its a different matter.
Since the the runes are incredibly strong even for non living my clan decided to make a special metal called DARK STEEL. Its special Dark magic infused with steel too withstand the power of the runes.
Meaning it can use its power without suffering the drawbacks.
( which is why each golem has 1 active ability )
