Lancer - IMPLEMENTED

Human horce unit with a lance. Much the same as a knight, but no bonus against infantry, and instead very effective against other cavalry. Good to deal with smarter enemies that retreat cavalry when spearmen approach.
Currently residing at the local ninja academy. I'm still watching though.

:o *facepalm* I guess this is where it becomes obvious I gave up AOS for AOF instead. Lol I consider it more in depth with greater options and having much more varied gameplay with just 16 possible race matchups in a 2 player game, each with their own variety of strategies.

I think both games have a lot to offer, in AOS for example you can find a counter (unit) for almost every strategy :)

I think it would be a good idea to import the lancer. It would give humans a great anti cavalry tool, and might be good to give bonuses against dragons and the like with the dragonlance idea.

Heavy lancer looks like it would blend in just fine. Only rededign the first level.

Not give humans a lancer? Humans are the masters of the art of war! (Weaponry is what I mean in this setting.)

Besides, elves have 4 speed moving spearmen. You can't possibly enjoy going after them with cavalry. :(

Sentinel kinda fill that role. In fact, sentinels fill so many​ required positions, no sane individual would play as elves without making them.

I also must point out that dryads get a bonus vs cavalry. I'd like them to get a damage bonus somehow to enhance this part, but in "many" starting units, it definitely shines against enemy cavalry.

Dryads are basically horse archers with poison so I don't think they should have a particular bonus unless we plan to use poison instead of acid (so they would have a bonus against trolls)

Sorry, I was mentioning that they already have a bonus vs cavalry, and I was hoping for some way to increase their overall attack power to be able to more effectively use that bonus.

This should have been in the game. Orcs AI and players love spawning in Raptor riders which is pretty much a pike horseman. I support the idea
