The 1% fliers thing is just until "can hit fliers" gets in.

There is no need to make a skeleton/reanimatable version for every unit in game.

I think we can keep the giant role for undeads for golems and maybe some daemons later

I just thought it looked weird seeing a small corpse come out of a giant... Like on death they shrunk.
