Beyond impressive with this one!!! The only minimal detail is to make himself a tad bit more thicker all round, but beyond that, it is awesome!

sounds fair this way the lancers would become more of a hit and run, i cant imagine a knight going at full speed doing the same damage at close combat

The only way to solve this is, to decrease the "normal" damage and then add a charge ability (what cavalry actually did) and then we can balance lancers all round

correct, but the mongols did have heavy armored warriors on horseback, also samurais used spears more than katanas, katanas are just glorified sidearms

Indeed cuts are more deadly on unarmored oponents but it is not against armored (like mentioned above) but that doesent mean thrusts arent any less deadly on unarmored opponents either, I would say they are even deadlier as they have an easier time going through the body
