Re: Hashashins(Order of Assassin's)

Well, even so... If these "infected" get in. . .

I would want zombies.
Which would have a similar mechanic.

Because I have thought up at least half a dozen campaign ideas for them alone.

Re: Halberdier

Endru1241 , Stratego (dev) , this infantry unit shou be able to counteract the cavalry discussions... As tested in AoF, they are more costly, but have enough dmg to take down a horseman of the same tier even after taking a hit... The Halberdier will be affected by ALL the normal smithing techs... +...

Re: Poleaxeman

: An infatry unit that is adept at dealing with cavalry and holding off infantry, for a higher cost of course...

Attack: 8/11/14
Armor: 0/0,1/1,2/2
Speed: 3
Vision: 4
SR: 0
Action/Turn: 1

Bonus: 200% vs cavalry, 50% vs infantry, 400 vs elephants

Re: Polishable unit images in AOS

Not bad, but I suggest that the Crossbowmen actually HOLD the weapons. Instead of it being drawn in front of them.

Not only that, but the stalk looks bent, and not in the right way.

So, you'd prefer 2x2 instead of 2x3?
How would I make it look less cartoonist?
• change stonework to cathedral layout perhaps?

Shading needs improvement... How can I make that happen?

Re: Monastery

It's enough to kill axe throwers, if 18 dmg is all, at a "supposed" tier 3, then it won't be able to kill a Swordsman of same tier. With one hit, that is.

It will cause Worry to that unit as it will deal between 2/3 (beginning) to 3/4 at a (3rd tier) of a Swordsman's health.

Re: Monastery

As for Halberdier, I was thinking of the new approach to fighting cavalry. (Inspired by AoF Halberdier variants) +1 cost to spearman -2 to hp of swordsman counterpart Att= Swordsman Bonuses are 200% instead of 450% vs cavalry. It could have 50% vs infantry melee (Although I forget bonuses vs elephan...

slinger purpose change... IMPLEMENTED

I don't see it really used... Yes, it has 2 attacks... But without the ability to upgrade via smithing techs... It's kinda useless. So, I propose it to be a skirmisher with 2 attacks instead of a supposed Archer. (Like a voulgier is to a spearman), because stones aren't really good vs armor and it h...

Re: Monastery

I intentionally didn't mention priests. Let them stay in church and tc only. Look at units produced by regular castle. It doesn't get real cavalry, nor archers, nor any healers. It let's You train infantry, but without 2-turners, emergency knight, slower lancer, 1 range converter, two shots only po...
