Reminded player not reachable

When you try to remind a late player, and it comes up with the message

Player cannot be reached
(no google account on that device)

does that mean they have uninstalled the game and left?

Re: Profan Filter Doesn't Work in Account Creation

Good work Aral. We could probably do with the profanity filter brought into game names too (unless it's been added recently) , sometimes we see rude words there.

Re: Celtic Skirmisher

I wonder if it should be removed from TC though. Tough call - on the one hand, it's stats really are brilliant (essentially Master Skirmisher with extra hp and dbl attack), on the other hand, flavourwise it is a great representation of the hit and run tactics synonymous with the Celts - a load of t...

Re: why are chariot not wheeled category?

Might not be the best place, but since it's already been brought up I feel inclined to speak in defence of wagons. Changing how they work would really effect the attacking dynamic. I agree that this is an issue... ability to summon something without leaving wagons. For example ability to summon wolv...

Re: version 1.158

That's the one I mean, Advanced Legion Command is there in game in my Roman Garrison but not in the upgrade shop.

And I've noticed a little oddity with War Canoes - they only allow a unit to embark /disembark when they are on a tile that supports land and water units, eg bridge or TC

Re: version 1.158

Nice, some interesting additions. There were some freebies in that pack I think - Battlements, Legion Training 2, Ace Cav and Posthouse weren't available to buy in the upgrade tree, but they all appear as they should in game.

Re: One way cliff paths

Then what you've drawn above is fine. I was only using the abominable stairs because that's all we currently got on the smaller scale. Perhaps remove it from ME then?

Yeah, I've tried obstd on cliffs, it does odd things.

Re: One way cliff paths

What you propose here is a heresy. Or maybe - do you like cubism? That's exactly my point - look at the top squares of the slopes https://ibb.co/rGVKCBS When using it south to north you cannot make it blend in to other grounds because top tile is hardwired in as cliffground, so it can't even be use...

Re: One way cliff paths

That sketch is exactly like existing horizontal slopes if accounting for huge cliffs height. no, existing slopes are 3x3, I was thinking of a rotation of the 1x3 cliff ground multi-tile, so 3x1 or 2x1 depending on what looks best, but 2x1 in my mind - 1 tile to break the cliff line, the 2nd to land...

Re: One way cliff paths

Diagonal stairs are even worse. Yeah, true, I guess diagonal slope is impossible south to north (unless keeping the 2x3 configuration, which would look severely warped). Would be good to have a vertical though, even if approximated, otherwise northern players face significant disadvantage accessing...

https://ibb.co/Tmdmrtc

As you can see, I'm no artist. But for the horizontal version of the 1x3, would something like this work, either 2 or 3 squares long, and with an up to down dogleg to show gradient? Someone better than me with visuals might be able to use shading to better demonstrate that.

Re: One way cliff paths

And the only one added still looks a little bit out of place - even assuming it represents slope that would normally have 3 tiles if presented on the opposite side. Actually the South to North slope looks ok to me, its clear what it is and fits in with the surrounds fine. And anyway, all the "...

One way cliff paths

Playing around with cliffs in ME atm, seems like a few things need their inverted twin. In particular, the 1x3 cliff pathway in cliffground and the two 2x3 diagonal pathways in cliff only go from north to south - we could do with all of those having an alternate direction equivalent, ie flipped 180....

I've suggested an archer nerf suggestions to kick out of TC roster and into their respective factories... Longbowman - surely the best pound for pound archer. Monestary is already cheap for the cause - even have siege weapon in it. But yeah, it's mega. Monastery is a bit of an untidy mish-mash imo. Holy Order Chapter House

A stillborn idea I've been carrying for a while, initially inspired by the good work of Squirrel5555 for the Teutonic order (Deus vult) - brought back to life after the efforts of L4cus for additions to the holy Templars (Deus vult), and Endru's recent mention of dissatisfaction with the priory poss...

Re: tc rooster rework

A general observation - Barracks seems to be, in some ways, the least necessary factory. This seems odd and unfitting given the importance of the foot soldier. To clarify my statement of "least necessary"... Yes, there are many upgrades that can be done in barracks, but depending on choice...

Re: Renamed topic. General observations re recent siege changes

I checked and there is a mistake in json causing this "FOOT" to be ignored (if using real category it would have been shown as "Foot"). You probably already know Endru, but to be sure, I've just noticed this same capitalising problem in all skirmisher type units, routier, horse,...

Specific answer - No (even though it has double attack, it has rather low range, slow movement, and can't be built). Tangential answer - I don't like it all. I agree with what Endru said somewhere a few weeks back, them and ornis should be booted to fun unit. In a game that tries to be closer to his...

Re: Renamed topic. General observations re recent siege changes

Hmm, I do think we have slipped back towards favouring towers. Most end games (I'm talking when it's all over bar the shouting, and you've more or less got your opponent beaten back to his starting area - assume all relevant upgrades done) seems to be waiting for more trebs to arrive to deal with th...

Of those examples though, one is (arguably) OP, and the other has barely half the hp. If blacksmithery was added, the easily possible combo of mêlée armour and pierce armour being in double digits for legionaries is what slightly concerns me though. I suppose on the one hand that doesn't make a huge...

Dre, you seem to be the Roman's champion at the moment.
