Air units being on top of ground units is real and makes the game easier to understand. Firstly having layers like this would work also for Naval units. I mean why can a ground unit attack (This can happen provided the sub is right next to land) a sub? I suggest we have 3 layers; land, air and sea. ...

What do you mean when you says "chests" It sounds strange. I personally like the idea of a set amount of gems.

Okay considering the Samuri I and how mobile they were I don't think a second action will work. But if we have an upgrade I don't think it makes sense because this unit is already going to be 6 turns.

It's good for me. @makazuwr32 I have read GOK's opinion on the fire archers and yes, they are OP as well. As for the upcoming games, I do not have all of the upgrades but I think I can still play.

Okay my scope of history is not big however I do know that Caesar went into Gual with 2 legions and left with 12, and that was comprised of both calv and infantry. From further study I found that the majority of the Auxiliaries had mail armor, the gladius sword and the same helmet as the legionnaire...

I personally don't think an upgrade is appropriate considering Spartan and his lack of one. I put the second action in because a second attack makes any unit very useful for defense. And because the Praetorian legionnaires were primarily bodyguards I think it's fitting.

Well I guess we could lessen the cost for the tech but lets not make it cheap like cost 2. I rather prefer a cool down that is very quick then a cheap tech.

Unlike the Spartans, the praetorian guard were not trained from birth so they should be inferior to the Spartans. I suggest these stats.

Hp: 20-26?
Attack: 12
Armor: 4/4
Speed: 3
Vision: 4
Action/Turn: 2
Spell Resistance: 100%

Also what does the ability do exactly?

From the look of the image you have posted, it seems that the warship is a Bireme (Two banks of oars). So is this a new unit being suggested?

Interesting... I personally think the cost should be 5 turns with a cool down of 2. This could be researched in the archery center.

Agreed. Many of the roman units were adaptions of Greek units. And I do know that there were units that accompanied the Spartans that threw javelins, however I do not know their names.

What if he had 2 actions like a slinger but could retreat farther because he has no armor? Personally I like the sound of this, below I have posted some stats.
