Re: Demigod: Protector

Thanks but won't it be much weaker than Ettin, Orc king, Cave troll, Ent warrior etc then? I will decrease the armors if needed.

Re: Demigod: Protector

Maybe you are right. My idea is demigods should be among the strongest units i.e. they will have a chance against the strongest units in 1 on 1 encounter. The strongest units are: Ettin: 100 HP, 20 power, 2 range, 3 armor, 3 pierce armor, 4 speed, 6 sight, 2/2 action/turn, 50% spell resistance Orc k...

Re: Demigod: Protector

Sounds good but maybe reduce the armors and increase the attack and cost? He doesn't seem to be strong enough to worth it to me but maybe I'm wrong. Thank you for the reply.

Re: New Race: Lizardfolk

Yes sounds awesome. Maybe its a primeval dragon that once ruled the entire world and some ancient elders or something like a great hero etc sent it to the void/limbo but now it has returned for some reason and want to take its kingdom back and subdue everything again but due to the great ancient bat...

Re: Demigod: Protector

Nah I just had an idea it can be bad we're cool with it.

OK I thought it will add a bit variation and different taste to the game which some people may like but I can be wrong.

Re: Demigod: Protector

My idea is every race will have one demigod like guardian for Elves, destroyer for Orcs and pestilence for undead. Is it possible to balance them? Yes the idea of game mode sounds excellent to me. Thank you.

Re: Demigod: Protector

Oh is demigods too much? I agree it probably sounds more mythical than fantasy but you know some heroes like Hercules, Achilles, Gilgamesh etc were demigods but if it's too much then OK I got it.

Re: Demigod: Protector

It doesn't have high HP but high attack. I agree that it's way too much for normal humans but demigods do not belong to any race completely, they're half gods so it'll be like half god and half human, elf, orc or undead. Your stats are definitely much more balanced so certainly better in that sense ...

Re: Demigod: Protector

Good point. I thought being the protector it should be able to destroy any enemy unit i.e. protect others from any enemy so the extremely high attack as there are some units with extremely high HP like Cave troll: 90 HP, Green and Skeletal dragons: 80 HP,
Ent warrior: 120 HP, Ettin: 100 HP.

Sorry to say but he is not so strong and is much more balanced than my idea i.e. he doesn't have any extremely high ability but has several high abilities.

Demigod: Protector — REJECTED

I have an idea of four demigods for four races. They each will have one ability extremely high, higher than all units of the game, and other abilities low or average. They'll have no upgrade, bonus, multiplication or reproduction but their one ability will be so high that it will make them belonging...

Re: Barbarian

The idea is good and the image is excellent, but I think the ability to withstand huge damage is a popular fantasy trope like you said but does not have a reasonable basis because they are tall and strong but against melee weapons etc it will not make a great difference they are not fighting hand to...
