As the game has grown, the amount of units and techs has increased a lot. Meanwhile, most of the ways to earn gems have stayed that same. I'd like to revive this post again. I mean, 40x40 is cool and all but I like 50x50 way more. The game can easily handle 50x50, it was even one of the old limits. All the new units did get put into map editor so it isn't like map editor is forgotten. I realise i was being stupid but just please make the limit 50x50 again 30x30 is just too small

I think it will be 3 years very soon. But i have some ideas to improve the map editor so it can finally get out of beta yay. 1. Add the unit editor/creator, i know there is a topic about this and it makes the unit editor seem very overcomplicated. This is how i see the unit editor. 1st. Get an idea....

The problem that jboer3 describes happens to me quite a lot. When i'm moving all of my units in big games i tap very fast to move all of the units. When you move a unit out of a tc and tje animation isn't finished before you open the tc again tc glitches. When i restart aos the tc even dissapears!

Sometimes it is very annoying that the hard AI can research technologies but you do want to fight against the special units.
So I'm suggesting to create a medium AI that has access to the special units but can't research technologies.

The uruk archers can easily compete with the elven archers and if ents are really hard to kill just train some ettins to keep them alive you can use shamans not 2 hard

Turtle ships are good but not OP and i think you shouldn't increase their range I rarely use them but they are a good defense against naval attacks if you hide them in towers and tc that are on the shore your opponents ships might come closer and you can suprise them and break the whole attack in on...

Once I was making a 50 x50 map but I placed one of the last units in the wrong position it looked like nothing was happening so I did some homework when I watched again I saw the last units dissapear Never use the undo button it is evil :evil: :twisted: EVIL VERY EVIL after that I quit aos for 2 day...
